My husband and I came here for a date night, and it was a great experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was nice and the service was attentive and friendly throughout our meal. As for the food, it was truly the star of the show. We started with the crispy chicken wings, which were cooked to perfection. For our main, we shared the pork belly stir-fry, the flavors were well-balanced, and the pork was delicious. The flan was nice and custardy.
Best tostones in NYC, the spicy mojo wings are the right kind of spicy (enjoyable) and empanadas wow, highly recommend and will come back over and over….. also the drinks are pretty good. Cuba libre is made with Havana club rum how god intended. I had a caipirinha because Brazil is playing the World Cup and kind of had to…. and it kept me cool and happy this NY summer afternoon.
Came here for dinner with 2 coworkers. All of us thought the food was average. For starters we had the tiger salad and Cuban sandwich spring rolls. The salad was…. soo bland! That’s kinda unprecedented for me when eating out 😅 when there’s an issue with restaurant food flavor, it’s always been that the flavor is too strong for me: too sweet, too salty, too rich, etc. So, this salad being too bland is kinda wild 😄 The spring rolls were alright, not particularly memorable.
