The pastries here are LARGE and worth the price! They even offer you different sizes if you want. There is another bakery down there but those same pastries are smaller. Everything here seems to be made fresh, so you can get very good quality Asian-style pastries. The store is small but that isn’t a big problem.
Such a lovely little mom and pop shop~ While taking my friend to explore flushing, we stopped by this tucked away hidden gem for the ample parking nearby. I didn't know prices like this existed in NYC anymore! For a calm and welcoming start to a Flushing crawl consider Carnation Bakery. The serving sizes and taste remind you of visiting an encouraging relative. Will return if only for the peaceful atmosphere.
Been coming here for over a decade. It’s been very disappointing lately. The usual plain pineapple bun is now half the size and half the egg topping. Did the owner and baker change??? I haven’t seen the owner in a while
