I’m not sure what happened could’ve been the time we arrived which was at 1030pm I was told the kitchen was closing at 11pm. I’ve had better. This is my second time the first time was take out and I ordered lamb chops steak creamed spinach and garlic mashed potatoes it was good. This time the food wasn’t good the branzino wasn’t what I expected. Empire steak house is completely my favorite and better. The fingerling potatoes was too garlicky no flavor little cheese. Great place! Food was perfect, staff is friendly and attentive (what you hope and expect) ordered fillet mignon with side of mushrooms and I loved it had a Cabernet with it. I was in a great place. Partner ordered NYStrip with lobster and he devoured it. We will definitely come again. We made a reservation but came an hour earlier and they were able to accommodate us quickly. Saw several families with kids. Dim environment. Romantic. Feels luxurious. Will be back!
My husband and I celebrated our birthdays recently at the restaurant. Every dish we ordered was impeccable. The creamed spinach and crispy onion string sides were amazing! The steak and halibut with beet risotto were unbelievable too! Very attentive waiter and classy atmosphere.
