We stumbled into Catrina Mexicana and were blown away by the smiling faces and delicious food. We had Chile Rellenos that was piping hot and scrumptious, I cut it before the woman of my dreams photographed it. Then we had Shrimp Tostadas and they were just delicious. Crispy and Yum. After a few Victorias we had a Tres Leches cake and I am jumping with a sugar high!! This place is CLEAN AND DELICIOUS!! Def try it out..
Bartender was great. Food was not. Ordered a lunch special of beef tacos. The beef used was a super cheap cut - some pieces were pure fat or collagen I couldn’t even begin to chew thru. Practically an entire single taco filling was throw away. I let management know and showed them, but they didn’t care. Maybe they’re new and expect they’re competitive for the neighborhood. I think not. In addition, the fillings don’t reflect the price. I’d eat elsewhere next time.
Came for lunch with a friend. Service was great- didn’t bug us too much but was very warm and inviting. Margaritas were perfectly made. Ordered the steak fajita- it was sizzling hot with all the trimmings. Would definitely visit again
