I’ve had the amazing opportunity to come to Chela twice in one week already, and I can confidently say I’ll definitely be back again. The vibes are great, the food is incredible, and honestly this might be some of the best Mexican food in the city. Carlos is hands down the best bartender ever. The micheladas were genuinely the best I’ve had outside of Los Angeles. Absolutely perfect. The STAR of the show for me was the brisket quesadilla. Absolutely gem in prospect park, Jaramillo did not dissappoint by bringing us. Phenomenal, flavorful food, amazing service, ambience and will be visiting again for sure. Everything we had from the queso fundido to the street corn and all entrees were outstanding. Come hungry and leave happy, these chefs throw down.
Run here, to eat ASAP, you won’t be disappointed. We went here for my friend’s birthday and coincidentally it was restaurant week. We initially thought of ordering from the regular menu, and we did order a couple things from there but then we decided to give the restaurant week menu a try - we didn’t regret it!
