TLDR: Great roast chicken, best to eat in-person or v quickly after delivery. Liked the chicken, maybe a tier below Nando’s for me but very solid. Sweet plantain side was mad oily tho, not my favorite, and pita got a bit soggy as a result.
I’ve been in the neighborhood 10+ years and I can’t believe it took me this long to discover Chicken Stop! 10/10, always, and I mean ALWAYS consistent! The chicken has so much great flavor, but the hidden gem are the ribs!! If you come across Chicken Stop, I highly recommend, lunch or dinner- they have solid options, the lunch chicken bowl is surprisingly refreshing. Chicken Stop has truly it’s become a weekly staple. Oh and don’t forget the tres leche!!!
First time ordering here and the food is amazing. I ordered the 1/2 chicken with Rice & beans and crinkle Fries. You should try them!
