Seating is limited, get there early. Got the chicken sandwich. Chicken was tender and very good. Wish I'd gotten the spicier sauce; the sweetness of the plantains would have paired excellently with a stronger kick. Also got the squash soup, which was good; but was too full from the sandwich to eat very much. Sandwich is very filling, so keep that in mind when ordering.
Haven’t been to the restaurant yet — I ordered delivery. As a Peruvian, with strong knowledge of the diversity of our cuisine, which has been awarded multiple times as one of the world’s finest and most excellent, I’m very selective when it comes to authentic Peruvian food. I can confidently say this place has the best pan con chicharrón (pork confit sandwich) I’ve tried in all of Manhattan. ¡Felicidades!
I love Peruvian food and couldn't wait to try this spot. When I arrived I found parking a few blocks away. I walked into a cozy restaurant. The owner Carla helped me and my friend. We ordered: Peruvian corn Rotisserie chicken shrimp stir fry beef stir fry sandwich Flan Passionfruit pie The food was very good. My favorite dish absolutely was the shrimp stir fry. It was super flavorful! All in all I had a good experience!
