Had such a great experience at Choor Bazaar! My husband and I came craving Indian street food and it really hit the spot. The pani puri was perfectly crunchy and flavorful, papdi chaat had the perfect sweet-spicy balance, and the vada pav and paneer frankie gave real Mumbai street food vibes. The pav bhaji was rich and comforting, and the gulab jamun was the perfect sweet ending. Such a fun spot for authentic Indian street food in NYC — definitely coming back!
Good food, good service and the location is great for tourists. We ordered the missal pav, pav bhaji and chole kulche. The missal tasted the best but was mild in taste against the spicy version one would expect. We requested for our extra tari ( spiced oil) and they were kind enough to provide a bowl. The pav bhaji left us disappointed as it was rather sweet for our taste. The pav were though generously buttered and most things tasted good. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall a goo
Really solid food. I would say it was slightly overhyped but if you’re craving something pretty authentic I’d come here! The vada pav was super crispy but unfortunately wayyy too salty for me. The papdi chaat was delicious and well balanced. The dahi puri was a little bland and would’ve benefitted from more chutney, but I’m also biased because I think my mom just does it better lol. Overall, pretty good meal. Service was okay (our server seemed a little out of it) but the vibes are cute :)
