Love the vibe & good selection of coffee and tea but it breaks my heart that they only serve drinks in plastic and paper, even when you dine in. When I visited, the shop was packed with people dining in, drinking out of plastic and paper. Not only are reusable mugs way better for the environment, but they also just help create a nicer ambiance and the drinks taste better in them. Please start using real mugs!
Clever Blend is such a gem! Brian the barista is always so kind and clearly passionate about what he does, he makes every drink with real care. I got the pumpkin latte with oat milk, and it was amazing, smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. You can really taste the quality of the coffee here. I also ordered a matcha for my friend, and she said it’s hands down the best she’s ever had, super creamy and not too sweet. The vibe of the place is relaxed and welcoming. Definitely one of the best coffee
Americano was bad. Laptop rule is annoying but I get it, makes for a better vibe, but then only paper cups available? The one thing that was great was the service, really friendly and helpful staff working there. To the cafe owners: I know you think the laptop rules are made very clear but they still are not. I only found out after I ordered a coffee and sat down. If you see someone walk in alone with a backpack, it’s probably worth reminding them when they order it’s a no-laptop time. [Edit]
