The food & service are fine. Prices are more aligned with diners in Manhattan. Not sure why credit card prices have to be itemized for each dish on the menu. Just have one advisory indicating a credit card fee. A bit on the loud side, but glad to see them busy. Parking is not for the faint of heart.
My visit to Cross Bay Diner was overall okay, but there were several areas that could be improved. The breakfast was average. The sausage tasted stale, the egg portion was quite small, and the pancakes were a bit tough to cut through. The French toast was good and was probably the highlight of the meal. I also ordered the pancakes with Nutella, but they were very bland. Instead of simply drizzling Nutella on top in circles, it would have been much better if the Nutella had been incorporated int
Cross Bay is exactly what I think of when I think about a great diner. Tons of seating options (tables, booths, bar top), attentive service, HUGE menu, and delicious food. The homemade mozzarella sticks are a must try, and my salad was so fresh. The apple pie was a perfect end to a meal. Will be back!
