Ginos is pretty good for what it is. Not a take out pizza joint, not a fine dining restaurant either. I have had many dishes over about a 2 year period. Today I was conservative. Chicken parmesan and veal parmesan with side salads 🥗. The bread to start was nice and fresh. The chicken parmesan is a winner ALL OF THE TIME. I got adventurous and ordered veal parmesan and immediately regretted it. The veal was sliced and smashed very thin. Many bites were tough and overcooked.
My fiancé and I visited on a weekday during lunch hours. This was my fiancé second time visiting. He spoke very highly of their grilled octopus salad. Honestly everything we ordered was delicious. The service was great. Zero complaints. From what I observed, the staff have a great rapport with their customers.
Excellent! Waiter was very helpful with great recommendations. Got the chicken parmigiana and it didn’t disappoint! Parking wasn’t horrible for a Monday around dinner time and service was quick, food came out hot and fast, and staff were very friendly. Will come back next time I’m in NY.
