This was possibly the worst chicken that I’ve ever eaten. It’s obvious that whoever was doing the cooking doesn’t know how to cook. The chicken was simultaneously greasy and flavorless — and almost inedible. There were bits of uncooked batter in the middle of the chicken breasts. The guy kept asking me if I wanted spicy condiments. I kept asking for mustard. He gave me ketchup. He handed me the chicken in a flimsy plastic-lined bag. Stellar experience. Made a friend named Raj as soon as we walked in. A bad guy with a good heart from Bangladesh. We may never see him again, but we will be friends for life. Popcorn chicken was crispy.
I stayed in Clinton Hill for a week while visiting New York. I ate here every day and loved the food. The guys who worked there were cool too and always treated me well. I would eat here again if i ever came back to New York.
