Lovely Romanian restaurant with live music to accompany your meal, bit out of the way but worth a visit. The dishes are large for sharing and well cooked, meat still tender. A lot of carbs with the dishes, not too big of a fan of the saisages. No comment on the throne side table😅
Feels just like home 🇷🇴 I had an amazing lunch experience at Danubius Restaurant—it truly felt like being back in Romania. The food is incredibly fresh, flavorful, and authentic. Every bite reminded me of home-cooked meals from back in the day. The staff was extremely welcoming and kind, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Zacusca (eggplant spread), sarmale (stuffed cabbage), and mititei (garlicky grilled skinless sausage) were sooo good. Super authentic Romanian food. The lamb pastrama was OK as well, I would say for those unfamiliar with Romanian cuisine to stick to the traditional dishes.
