Relaxed restaurant offering traditional Yemeni rice dishes, plus roasted chicken & fish plates.

Best Yemeni food in the city. The fahsah is to die for! I traveled all the way down from Flushing just to eat here!
Good food, friendly but forgetful service. Price however pretty steep, considering take out level ambiance (plastic table cloths + utensils). Cheapest breakfast item on the menu is $15, we spent $70 for dinner for two. (No alcohol) So 4 stars for food, 2 for value.
Darul Yemen is one of those hidden gems that you might easily overlook, but once you try the food, you’ll definitely want to come back. It’s a small, hole-in-the-wall style restaurant with a modest seating area, but what it lacks in size, it more than makes up for with the quality of its food. My favorite dish is the lamb fahsa. It arrives sizzling hot in a traditional clay bowl and is packed with rich, comforting flavor. The fresh bread served alongside it is outstanding—hot, soft, and perfect
