Best Yemeni food in the city. The fahsah is to die for! I traveled all the way down from Flushing just to eat here!
Good food, friendly but forgetful service. Price however pretty steep, considering take out level ambiance (plastic table cloths + utensils). Cheapest breakfast item on the menu is $15, we spent $70 for dinner for two. (No alcohol) So 4 stars for food, 2 for value.
Darul Yemen is one of those hidden gems that you might easily overlook, but once you try the food, you’ll definitely want to come back. It’s a small, hole-in-the-wall style restaurant with a modest seating area, but what it lacks in size, it more than makes up for with the quality of its food. My favorite dish is the lamb fahsa.
