Ended up being a good experience but what a confusing place. The restaurant is called Dark Bullet, the menu they gave us (which was for a different restaurant's food) said Zurutto, and the napkins said Tenzan, like where ARE we? it took about 15 minutes for the poor single employee at the bar to take our order and the food did come correct and was good. Also, they turned the lights off by our table about an hour into our meal so we were just in the dark? The chicken katsu was good but just weird
I've walked by this place for a while but finally got a chance to check it out tonight and I got to say I really enjoyed it. The service was very friendly and attentive and incredibly quick. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting. I got a glass of wine and some oysters. The West Coast oysters were unlike anything I had have ever eaten. They were very creamy and the East Coast oysters were very salty and meaty but like in a really nice way. I would definitely come back here. I also got some foo
The Japanese draft at this dive bar is proof that you don’t need a degree in mixology to enjoy a drink. It’s a beer that doesn't try to be 'artisanal' or 'infused' with anything—it’s just beer. Because it’s on tap, you skip that weird preservative aftertaste, and they serve it in a mug so cold it could give you a brain freeze. Pure bliss. And yeah to happy hours prices
