The jerk chicken is AMAZING! I kid you not. It’s so juicy and tasty. I literally have it once/twice a week! I need to try other things but the jerk chicken has me in a chokehold. It may be the best jerk I had in a while
Just had the oxtail with rice and peas at De Island Jamaican Restaurant and wow… it was so good! The oxtail was super tender and full of flavor, and the gravy over the rice and peas tied everything together perfectly. Big portions, great taste, and the kind of food that makes you feel like you’re at home. Definitely recommend this spot if you’re craving real Jamaican food.
This was my second time going to DE Island The service was good. The food was phenomenal atmosphere was OK but one problem I have is with this light skin man with dreads that doesn’t dress correctly he is always arguing with a light skin lady in disrespectful manner, I do not recommend this because she is a absolute great cashier thank you,
