Easy to walk-in, quick service, and a wide variety of menu options. Have been here a couple times now and always left happy! We tend to get a few small dim sum plates which you order by using a pen to check off which ones you want on a paper menu, then we also like to get a bigger dish or two from the regular menu. Tea can be ordered by the pot and refilled as you wish. Good value in my opinion— we got a pot of jasmine tea, mixed vegetables, beef chow fun, shrimp dumplings, chicken shumai, and
I visited this dim sum spot years ago and wasn’t very impressed at the time. But coming back with friends this time, we absolutely loved it. My favorite was the steamed egg custard and the skin on the black truffle mushroom dumpling was incredible so tender and chewy.
Have had dimsum in several different places in NYC. For me, Dimsum garden at 2nd ave x 56th st location is the best! Of course, all kinds of dimsum are delicious, and other foods such as noodles and rice are also very tasty. 😋
