Visited for the first time to watch Bill O’Connell Quintet featuring Randy Brecker perform live, and it was an incredible experience. The combination of world-class jazz and the stunning nighttime views of the Manhattan skyline made for the perfect end to a birthday celebration. The entire set was phenomenal, and every solo was a highlight. Huge compliments to Bill O’Connell (piano), Randy Brecker (trumpet), Craig Handy (tenor saxophone), Lincoln Goines (bass), and Billy Hart 😍(drums) for such
Have been here a couple times as a tourist in my own city to see world-class jazz musicians take the stage and remind us that everything is better with 9 artists vibing and improv’ing the standards together. This time it was the incredible bassist Carlos Enriquez and his nonet plaiting Nuyorican jazz and it was the perfect way to close out the year. Definitely recommend it for a legendary vibe.
The best time! We love jazz so we enjoyed the show very much with a bottle of wine! We were pleasantly surprised by the food. It was delicious. I recommend the branzino!
