Relaxed diner-style Spanish restaurant with dishes like baked chicken, beef stew & pepper steak.
From Google Maps reviews.
Food here is always good, the staff is friendly. Nice little spot in lower east side for Spanish food. I recommend this place to everyone looking for good food.
I've been going to Castillo 2 for over 20 years. Their food was so good I used to eat take-out 2 or 3 times a week. Sadly, in the past 6 years their food has been mediocre or bad. On my last 3 visits, I've gotten watery black beans, dry baked chicken, or mushy white rice. I don't understand why they don't hire good cooks. I've spoken to my neighbors and we agreed that the quality of their food is no longer good. It's a hit or miss. Please speak to the staff and share your dissatisfaction. P
Some of the most delicious and outstanding Dominican food I have had in NYC. And wonderful service. INCREDIBLE prices. $60 for 4 beers, milkshake, chicken, specialty rice dish, beans, plantains & more. Enough food for 3 people. Can’t beat the price.
