The broiled chicken was fall-off-the-bone and the porkchop was perfectly done! Cozy and hearty meal right off the Grand Army Plaza station. We also really enjoyed the free buttered bread--it tasted almost exactly like a Filipino merienda. Love how flavours are shared between cultures!
Delicious sancocho! Service is really nice and attentive, there is an ATM available which is always handy (You can pay with card anyways.) Yuca fries were great yet not the freshest. This is the type of spots that remind the humans of New York of our delicious latin american roots. Rice and beans are great (as expected) . On the down side, ghis place is extremely over priced as compared to other latin american options in the area.
What am I to say about this restaurant? Well let's start approximately 30 years ago. Yes about 30 years ago. I attended School in the area my father owned the biggest body shop in Brooklyn at the time before I go into work he would stop here with me before taking me to school to sit down and have something to eat. This restaurant was not located on Flatbush but more so around the corner off of Flatbush Avenue or as known Flatbush extension. Papi was always order eggs and yucca he would order me
