Bronx eatery known for traditional Dominican standards, from mofongo to rice and beans.
From Google Maps reviews.
Reasonable prices. The food is so good 😋. The restaurant is packed, but I recommend it because the food is so worth it. I had rice and beans, mofongo plain with fried cheese on the side, and garlic on the side for the mofongo. It was slamming! They serve it with a salad 😋👍🏼. A must try.
The food is horrible. This use to be a go to spot, but it has seriously fell off. The beef tasted spoiled, the bacalito patty wasn’t cooked, the pastelito was too hard to bite, the mangu had something in it. I threw everything away. Wouldn’t even feed it to a dog.
Coming here for years. Avoiding it lately because service is not there. Only buy food when craving is overpowering, because it is outstanding. Every once in a while you get someone who cares about service. Order delivery if you want to avoid a bad experience.
