  Booked this hotel through virgin Atlantic holidays for a good price. I liked the fact they don’t charge a $40 tax per night for ‘resort fees’ like a lot of others do. Unfortunately that is pretty much where the positives end. The rooms are very dated and not looked after - there are dents, marks, dust etc everywhere and I don’t feel that the room had been cleaned particularly well.   The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location. It is very close to Times Square, making it a convenient base for exploring New York. Our room was comfortable, and the highlight of the stay was definitely the view. We stayed on the 27th floor, and the nighttime skyline views were spectacular, especially considering the price we paid. The heating and air conditioning also worked very well.
