Just had the most delightful experience at the brand new Emack & Bolios! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with such a warm and inviting atmosphere by the owner Joshua. The ice cream tastes very thick and chalky, more icy than creamy. The flavors were pretty weak, the peanut butter especially tasted very artifical (tried peanut butter, brownie, and almond coconut). Not worth the $7 scoop (with tax) for sure...
Tried the vegan mango and chocolate at Emack & Bolio’s in Brooklyn, and both were a bomb! The flavors were perfectly balance and stood out. The ice cream was just the right amount of sweetness, in fact the chocolate was more like a delicious bitter dark chocolate. the texture was light and airy, unlike some dense coconut based ice creams. They’ve been around in the city for so long, and it’s clear they’ve maintained their quality over the years. Highly recommend!
