We ordered cupcakes for our wedding, and they were absolutely delicious! I was initially worried we ordered too many cupcakes, but they were nearly all gone by the end of the night. Brooklyn Blackout was my personal favorite! Empire was responsive and friendly while coordinating delivery. I highly recommend Empire for your next event!
Empire Cake: A Sweet Escape in Greenwich Village I stopped into Empire for a peak inside (that is my story and I am sticking with it) and ended up with a chocolate chip cookie and a latte, and both hit exactly the right notes without any fuss. The cookie was well executed: crisp edges, soft center, generous chocolate distribution. The latte was smooth and well-balanced. Classic comfort executed well…sometimes “done right” is all you need. OMG. I am not much of a desert person but when I saw the elevated Yodel I had to go inside. This desert was indeed every single wonderful thing about eating yodels in the 80’s, only far more elevated and DELICIOUS. I had a wave of euphoria come over me when I took the first bite. My partner got an assortment of cookies. They really nailed it— these are classic deserts but way better than most people make them 99% of the time.
