Esse Taco in Williamsburg is hands down one of my favorite taco spots in all of NYC! The tacos here hit different – perfectly seasoned, with those fresh house-made corn tortillas that elevate everything. I always go for a mix: the ribeye is juicy and rich, the al pastor has that killer char and pineapple vibe, and the oyster mushroom one is surprisingly addictive even if you're a meat lover like me. Taco crawl spot 4: POLLO A LA PLANCHA (chicken) taco was good. The additional ingredients added to flavor. Space was casual and chill; staff were friendly and helpful.
I didn’t wanna believe the hype. Stopped by this place because my friend told me it was insanely flavorful. I was pleasantly surprised. Everything on my plate was bursting with flavor, please don’t forget the salsa section. These hot salsas are mouthwateringly spicy. I strongly recommend the tacos & will be back for the rest of the menu. Important* make sure u keep ur receipt to use the bathroom! The gentlemen at pick up was nice enough to remember me and share the code.
