Amongst the many Chinese restaurants in Manhattan, Evergreen is a good choice for Dim Sum or Classic Chinese, as they featured many regional selections. Everything we ordered came out in a timely fashion, and properly prepared. The inside dining area is quite large, especially for NYC. The staff was friendly, and service was prompt. However, they do cater to tour groups, and when they arrive, it can get very busy in an instant. But don't let that deter you, as their quality and pricing stan
My brother and I swear by this place! Their lunch specials are a great deal, their prices are generally fair, and the atmosphere is exquisite for dine in. It's a gorgeous location for a quiet dinner or a quick lunch. Staff are a friendly breath of fresh air.
Yes, the soup dumplings here are very good. Overall, the taste and the quality of my food was good. But, the reason why for my low rating is the bad service. After seating, it took an exceptionally long while for a waiter to take our order (we were visibly ready). Then, my main entree (beef and broccoli) came to my table cold, and before my dining companion’s plate. Plus, a family of 6 was sitting next to us, came in a full 15 minutes after us, got all of their food before my table of 2. Horribl
