Absolutely terrible experience with the Fairfield Inn & Suites Staten Island cruise package. We booked the special package that included parking and shuttle service to and from Cape Liberty cruise port. I called TWICE before arrival to ask how to schedule the shuttle and was told both times to do it at check-in. When we arrived, we were told the shuttle was already full. They “accommodated” us by putting us on an absurdly early shuttle that got us to the port two hours before it even opened. To
Stayed at the Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites New York Staten Island and had a very comfortable experience overall. The hotel was clean, modern, and well maintained, from the lobby to the rooms. The room itself was spacious, quiet, and exactly what you want after a long day—comfortable bed, good shower, and plenty of outlets. Poor service - no accommodations were provided for disability. Free shuttle to ferry was limited by the hour 9am, 10am, 11am, 12pm, and then they charge you $25 per person after that. Even when you request a shuttle, got so much attitude about it. Weird customer service attitude. No shuttle to any airports. Check in took an hour of waiting in the lobby.
