This spot was convenient, clean, and had a great atmosphere. The customer service was excellent, with friendly conversations that made the experience even better. The food was fresh, tasty, and well-prepared. I ordered the two eggs any style with home fries, salad, toast, and a side of bacon. I came here with some friends on our trip to NYC not too long ago -- and we fell in love with this place! The funky, modern decor is so, so beautiful and comforting, and the food was delicious. I got the french toast (recommended by Sam, the owner) and shared the beignets with my group, both were incredible. Above average neighborhood spot with killer dessert and decent entrees. Wedge salad 8/10 - good crispy lettuce and a tangy dressing. Overall well balanced and I like the depth of the flavor in the chopped bacon. Steak frites - 4/10 - chewy and undercooked, but the shoestring fries were good. Banana bread pudding - 10/10 - honestly the best thing we had. Do yourself a favor and get this. All together a decent spot with good patio seating in the front.
