Went here on a Tuesday night with a few friends and there was no wait. We ordered the fried calamari for the appetizer and it was crispy and perfectly cooked. We also ordered the churrasco that was super tender, the farfalle pasta (a special) with shrimp, asparagus in a red sauce - though it looked pretty standard, the pasta was cooked perfectly! Today I went to try for the first time, after hearing about this place a lot in the neighborhood group. We went for dinner and I order the churrasco and my husband de bucatini pasta. We also order humita and the homemade strawberry lemonade. All of the food was delicious and also the apple cake for dessert. The service was also amazing. Francesca was really on top of everything and explaining the dishes were new to us. Bathroom was also super clean. I just forgot to take pictures because I go
I was pleasantly surprised to find this place in Sunnyside and I’ll def be coming back. I was craving a bolon de queso and the restaurant’s dish reminded me of the restaurants by the beach in Ecuador - very heartwarming experience. Francesca, the server, was friendly and welcoming and very attentive. I’ll def have to go back to try the pasta but for now I’ll be going back for more Ecuadorian dishes 😊.
