I visited a cute new Italian restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen. Every dish was delicious. The appetizer special of the day—a cheesecake-like dish—had a rich, complex flavor unlike anything I’ve ever tasted, and it truly impressed me (it’s a shame I forgot to take a photo). Wonderful little spot in Hell’s Kitchen- great for a pre-show dinner slightly away from Times Square. The service was excellent- our waiter was very friendly, and gave great recommendations. The eggplant appetizer was delicious!! My gnocchi was interesting and good. We had the hot chocolate cake for dessert which was good as well. It’s a small place but loved the decor and homey feeling. Definitely recommend!
What a great little hidden gem! Worth walking west one block from the overcrowded 9th Ave/Hells kitchen scene. Homemade and creative Italian dishes and lots of specials each day. Half star off for a puny and boring wine list. Their homemade pistachio gelato was a little “granular” for my taste. But great atmosphere and very friendly service.
