The Garden at the Ford Foundation is amazing. I go to this place to relax. If you want to find a quiet, cozy pocket garden, this is the perfect place. But before you plan your visit, make sure to check their website. Their open hours might differ every week; sometimes they close at 3 pm. There is also an exhibition in the building, so you should check that out. I am not sure about the bathroom.
Almost wouldn’t believe you’re in an office the way this secret garden cuts right to the sky! But understandably the security does not like you doing anything but taking a quick loop. Would love if this place had some benches or somewhere to sit and read… Overall super nice fauna and smooth jazz would recommend if bored in midtown.
Love this place! It’s like a secret garden. I always come in and walking around and sitting for a bit when I’m in the neighborhood. I love how they keep the space so green and so clean. It feels so much cooler by the pond and with all the greenery. Absolutely love it!
