Excellent local staple for generations. Staff can be friendlier - it's probably a NYC thing. Immaculate atmosphere for a small social gathering. Excellent bakery items - I had pistachio canoli.
A true neighborhood spot in a quiet corner open late. After eating various pizza slices in Williamsburg, a lil seeet treat with some coffee was in order. Definitely neighborhood vibes…people inside have been coming here for years, grew up in the area or were like me, transplant wandering in for something sweet. Pre-ordered a tiramisu birthday cake and still had to wait an hour in line (on a Friday morning) only to be told they forgot my order and did not have my tiramisu. They gave me a display cake, misspelled the name (“marco” instead of “marcos”), and used an ugly neon green without asking.
