Fradei is the kind of tiny Brooklyn restaurant that feels like a real find. It is intimate, a little unexpected, and perfect for a date night when you want something different from the usual polished restaurant circuit. The room is small, the energy is warm, and the whole place has a casual charm that makes dinner feel personal rather than produced. The food was excellent across the board. I really enjoyed my meal here. Thought everything was well prepared, i had many flavor combos that I haven't had before. I think the standouts were the soppressata that they sourced from a small farm in Indianapolis, super good, and of course they serve it with a la bicyclette baguette so you know they know what's good. I think the agnolotti is very good. The cooking on the pasta itself was al dente in a way that almost made you feel like you're eating something that isn't quite pasta. I loved
Cozy little hidden gem with just a few tables and a great mix of wine bar and authentic restaurant vibes. The menu is small but every dish was delicious — definitely order sharing style! Highlights were the scallops, squash toast, and pork. The only downside was the waitress reminding us about the 1.5-hour limit five times before we even ordered, which wasn’t the nicest. Otherwise, amazing food and atmosphere!
