The server had an attitude. They ask for card when we arrived to start a tab. Typical this is just to hold… but they decided to charge the card. We handed them cash.. took it and then realized what we were asking. Seemed very confused. The customer should have a choice as to how they want to pay. 💰 the card should be a hold. The food was ok. We ordered tater tops with cheese. Not very flavorful. The fried chicken sandwich was good, so was the beer.
Awesome place reminds me of somewhere you see in Europe They have a lot of IPAs always change a menu. It’s been here for 13 years which speaks volumes. Rich, the bartender is great
Among my friends, Gebhard's is one of our favourites to gather at. It has a nice variety of beers on tap, including local and regional varieties. The staff there is great, and they have a killer happy hour until six during the week. It's just a great place to meet up in the UWS after work.
