This place use to be amazing. I’ve ordered from here plenty of times, but after tonight’s delivery, I’m disgusted & disappointed. Opened the fried rice to find a full hair in it (follicle attached.) so immediately off to a bad start, and I LOVE their fried rice. Then the shrimp tempura roll— one of the pieces was just the tail. No shrimp, just the tail wrapped in rice. The gyoza tasted like it was frozen from a grocery store. I’m so disappointed, this use to be one of my favorite sushi places.
Have always ordered takeout and dine in here for years and they are always consistent and fresh. Their salmon, uni, and avocado (perfectly ribbed every time), and rolls (especially special rolls) are always good. These pictures are from different times over a few years that I have ordered from them. Highly recommended!
Finally found my go-to sushi place in Staten Island. The fish is always super fresh and the portions are generous . I tried the Staten Island Roll and the Yellowtail with Jalapeno appetizer—both were incredible . Love that you can watch the chefs prep everything right at the sushi bar . Service was quick and friendly, and they even brought out hot towels before the meal which was a nice touch . Prices are reasonable for the quality. If you haven't been yet, go. You won't regret it.
