Cute and trendy sandwich and bagel shop / bakery. Love the backyard patio, so much seating and there’s one fire place! There is limited indoor seating, and a bathroom too. The cornbread is fireeee, I had some of Brett’s. The chocolate babka looked fantastic, I’ll try that next time. It was very busy on Saturday around noon, I waited about 15min for my everything bagel with normal schmear ($5.44).
This is the place! Where else can you get a pastrami egg and cheese on a handrolled bagel PLUS a borscht Bloody Mary?! These guys deliver that plus an adorable cozy environment and super sweet staff. Can’t wait for summer to hang in that backyard 🤌
We left a bit disappointed. We came for bagels but ended up with sandwiches that were pretty average. Paying $55 for two sandwiches and latkes felt overpriced, even for NYC. We also waited over 20 minutes, which seemed long for such simple items. Maybe we just picked the wrong thing on the menu, but overall it didn’t quite live up to what we expected. The patio behind the restaurant is a really nice spot tho.
