They don’t understand how happy I am to have them back. I mean to the moon and back happy to have them back. Literally ALL of my favorite places to eat are gone either due to the pandemic or just the crazy rent for businesses here. The is comfort food for me. When they came back last year I walked away with a few Large to eat for a few days and a small to eat on the train ride home. My lady and I are celebrating our 10 year anniversary this month and are just treating ourselves.
Go Go Curry is one of those spots that stands out in Times Square specifically because it is not trying to be anything other than what it is. Japanese curry done simply, priced fairly, and served fast. The menu is built around katsu curry. The pork katsu is the move, and the portion sizes are generous across the board. The curry itself is rich and deeply savory in the way a good Japanese curry should be, though it leans mild on spice. The chicken katsu is a solid alternative and the fried fish
I'm not sure if this place would be Tokyo salaryman approved but I was impressed. For $12.55 you get a "small" size pork katsu curry which in my opinion was pretty large. 55 seems to be an integral part of Go Go Curry's brand identity so it's sad to think I probably missed some type of May 5th promotion.
