I returned to another Gong Cha bubble tea chain which this is located at 38th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues, Midtown West, Manhattan, NYC. This location is accessible via A train at 42nd Street Port Authority. Upon arriving there was a woman in front of me arguing with the staff persistently haggling the price to be lowered, but to no avail. Woman, no means no! There are other bubble tea businesses within the locale that may appease your needs, but not this particular Gong Cha whom apologiz
Very good bubble tea. I think Shiny Tea in the UWS beats them out, but barely and this is much more convenient for me to get to. They have a large menu and ordered a few drinks. I didn't care for the tea with the foam on top. Their milk tea is perfect and the tapioca is cooked just right. Will be coming back for more.
This location of Gong Cha is one of our favorites since their service is pretty decent. The decor is similar to other branches, simple, humble and limited-spaced. We have visited a couple of times and what we always ordered was their Brown Suger Bubble Milk Tea in small size with less ice & 30% sugar. It's still too sweet but really satisfying and perfect as a dessert.
