This place used to be at Lawrence St but now they're at Willoughby. They move in January 2023. The place is bigger but still needs some work. It feels like a space in a way. Compare to their previous location they don't even put the posters of their new drinks inside which makes it kind of difficult to even know what's new. The people there are very nice. Great place to get some good bubble tea.
The service isn't friendly, but at least efficient when I have been. And the tea is pretty expensive, even compared to a few local options. I usually order a flavored green tea - the pineapple didn't taste like pineapple at all, but I did get the red star jelly, and I enjoyed that part a lot. But the tea just tasted sweet and with no particular flavor. My husband got the brown sugar tea with bubbles and I thought that one was better than mine. I came today because I’ve never had any kind of Boba before. I allowed them to recommend a drink for me. I went with a medium Passionfruit Green tea, 50% sugar, light ice, and star jelly. The combination of passionfruit and green tea was amazing, refreshing and delicious. Nothing was overpowering. The level of ice and sugar I chose was the right amount🙌🏽🙌🏽.
