Insanely good smash burgers!!! The steak are caramelized, the sauce is delicious, the buns are savory and buttery, the jalapeño gives it a little twist. The hot dog was also delicious. The fries are good but not that crazy, onion rings are really nice. The place is really nice to sit down. The person who took care of us looked annoyed the whole time, perhaps because we were tourists and took a bit of time before ordering, or maybe just a bad day. We would love to come back though!
This is a solid place to grab a Smashburger. The staff was friendly, which was a nice surprise for New York. It took about ten minutes to seat a group of six on a Saturday night even though it was pretty busy. I got the classic Smashburger with a side of onion rings. The burger was juicy with a good amount of sauce, jalapeños were a nice touch. The onion rings were the standout item for me. They have a big selection of sauces which is a win. Truly excellent smash burgers here! The place is also clean & open late. Here are a few notes to consider: — burgers are soft, with a slight crust & flavorful — they make the ranch in-house, no bbq here — they use Martin potato rolls as buns — they use round pellet style ice in soda fountain (some people are religious about this) — they put “reserved” signs on the tables, but it’s to filter who can sit there, like 1 person not sitting on a 5 person booth — they’re opening another location at JFK
