I had a fantastic time at Gramercy Tavern. We booked a reservation relatively last minute so we had outdoor seating. I'm not a fan of sitting outside. However, the inside was beautiful. Bread service was warm focaccia. Smoked oysters were delicious. We ordered ribs (super tender) and meatballs. I'll skip the meatballs next time - it had the same texture as meatloaf (not a fan). Ended dinner service with peach cake and beignets.
(Review from Dec. 2025): First time at Gramercy Tavern, we had lunch on the tavern side. We both really enjoyed everything we ate, they are serving some really solid American food. The flatbread and dips and the burger stood out above the rest. I think the burger is an all timer in the city. The milk and cookie dessert was fun but it didn’t blow us away. Had such a great experience at the Tavern at Gramercy Tavern. The service was outstanding from start to finish — attentive, welcoming, and made the whole dining experience feel special.
