Overall this was a very underwhelming experience. At the time of making the reservation we were explicitly told that it was not necessary to add a child as an extra guest. The child was noted as such on the reservation, however upon arrival we were informed that she should have been added as an additional person during booking. After some delay, we were eventually seated. While the service itself was good and the selection was pleasant, a significant quality issue overshadowed the experience. I
An ode to extravagance but oddly enough not as opulent as one might expect. The afternoon tea is surprisingly good - especially the savouries. Some of the pastries not up to scratch. The scones are ok though for the money they should be able to source proper clotted cream. The wine list is not for the faint of heart
