MANNY completely took care of me, securing a serious upgrade with an incredible, sweeping view of the Empire State Building. There was a brief wait for the room to be ready, but the second I walked in, I understood why: it was absolutely worth every minute for that vantage point. Went through Amex for this stay and got a great deal. It's always hit or miss with boutique style New York City hotels, but I considered this a hit. My husband and I are in our mid 30s and went for our 6th wedding anniversary. We specifically went to go see a couple of shows and it was a great central hub for everything we wanted to do (museums, a few cocktails lounges, nice dinners, theatre, stroll through the parks) The rooftop views were great, the hotel is nice.
