Delicious, authentic Cuban food! We enjoyed yucca frites, empanadas and ropa veja. The chicken empanadas weren't our favorite because the shredded chicken tasted bland. We did like the crust. The frites and ropa veja were amazing. Overall, we really enjoyed it and would go back. Great service with several members of staff. We never wanted for anything
Had a nice meal at Guantanamera Cuban Restaurant in Manhattan. The black bean soup was solid as expected. The ropa vieja was tasty but the portion was a bit small. The Cuban chicken sandwich had good flavor, but the chicken was overcooked and tough to chew. Overall, a good spot for Cuban food. **8/10**.
We went on a Wednesday evening for my bday dinner. Service was great! Very friendly and welcoming. I ordered coconut mojito, which was everything I expected. As an appetizer we tried the shrimp plantain cup and it was soo deeelicious. My partner ordered breaded steak, I had the skirt steak with chimichrri sauce. We both had the white rice w/ black beans. Everything was amazing... Only one slight issue, my steak was a bit tough. It definitely could have been more tender. Price was reasonable. We
