For the longest time , I have craved an experience at the renowned vegan hotspot HAAM. Recently, I had the pleasure and when I say it does not disappoint in any way I do not exaggerate!!! I have been a pescatarian for 35+ yrs, and my partner is an avid meat eater, who also absolutely loves West Indian and criolla food. So this felt like a really great experiment. We began our meal with delicious drinks , including a favorite of mine , Morirsoñando..and delicious cocktails served in fresh cocon
We got the cous cous with glazed steak, empanadas, jerk tamarind burger, and the baked macaroni pie. Both me and my sister said it was the best meal we have ever had. The cous cous was our favorite, but everything we ordered was incredible. Will definitely be coming back and recommending to everyone i know!
I have dreams about the tres golpes. The mangu was perfect and not dry, the salchicha was AMAZING, and I could not believe the fried egg was vegan. All the plate needed was some fresh aguacate. The baked macaroni pie was wonderful. The nachos were okay, but we felt was overpriced for the size and flavor combinations were kind of odd. The parcha sauce on the parcha cheesecake was phenomenal. Next time, I will try the passion fruit tres leches and the oxtail and mofongo!
