HARBS is honestly one of my top three favorite cake shops of all time. We came right when they opened at 10 AM today, so the shop was quiet and we were the only customers at first. We ordered two slices of their signature fresh fruit mille crepes and one slice of the sakura cake. The fresh fruit mille crepes was just as good as I remembered. The prix-fixe menu offers incredible value for the price. The staff are polite and attentive, making the experience very pleasant. The omurice was delicious, and the cakes have that delicate, authentic Japanese flavor. The place is spacious with plenty of seating, and even the restroom is exceptionally clean. A must-visit spot in SoHo!
We went for prix fixe set dinner for two times and really enjoyed food! Salad was fresh and pastas were very tasty. Japanese pasta was so unique and delicious! Seafood pasta was hot and perfectly cooked. Omurice was authentic: similar to what you can get from Japan. Cakes were great but most outstanding ones were chocolate and marron cakes! They were really special. Service was efficient.
