Went to the Head Hi Lamp Show 2026. Was super excited. Bought a lamp. Six weeks later (after several follow ups) they told me that the artist decided not to sell the lamp because of a “technical issue.” Eventually they refunded my card. It’s super disappointing as I wanted to support local artists and the event. But now I just feel like I got scammed by the whole experience.
A unique cultural destination. Gem of Fort Greene/Clinton Hill/Navy Yard. Blend of coffee, aesthetic books and music. I love it for delicious matcha, architecture-focused bookstore, art events and founders with real depth.
Head Hi is always a great place to meet friends, discover something new, whether browsing their curated selection of art books or attending one of their many popular programs like the famed lamp show or listening events with local fare. The proprietors are kind and always ready to share their new favorite things over coffee or tea-- 5 stars!
