Hungry Ghost is a competetent chain. But the service is non-existent. The staff doesn’t even bother saying hello, thank you, have a nice day, or even acknowledging your presence. You hear them talk and laugh among themselves, so they are capable of speech and emotion. I’d rather spend the $6-9 a beverage costs these days in another location.
This unfortunately has to be the worst hungry ghost location. The park slope, Clinton hill, Williamsburg location are all good but this one is not. Every time I’ve been the baristas are not friendly, helpful and sometimes just rude. It’s sad cuz hungry ghost’s coffee is good.
Amazing service. I loved the flaky chocolate croissant with my hot chocolate. The sitting area is cozy, and they have a bench for outside. 5 stars I like this place
