this is such a great spot for Izakaya japanese food! Their sushi served on the spoons is such a fun touch as well! I loved trying the skewers and they were such great quality! Awesome spot for drinks as well! I loved that they have zaru soba on the menu which I feel that a lot of restaurants don’t have. It felt authentic, definitely a try!
I had a great experience at Izakaya Futago! The space feels tucked away near Grand Central and is perfect for date nights, group dinners, or after-work drinks. I loved that the yakitori is grilled right in front of you, it really adds to the experience. Everything I ordered was great, but a few standouts were the Yakitori Platter, the Deluxe Spoon Sushi, and their new spring cocktails, especially the Melon Cream Soda Chuhai and Ichigo Geisha. For dessert, the Matcha Parfait and the White Puddin
This felt like a super authentic experience and the food is DELISH. Spoon sushi is a must, the presentation is so fun. I loved how many soba dishes there were to choose from. The matcha parfait was also insanely good for dessert! Our server was so friendly and accommodating. Can’t wait to come back soon.
