To start we ordered two glasses of Vermentino not available so we drank the Sancerne which was excellent. For the appetizer we ordered the grilled artichoke's appetizer which was perfectly seasoned. For our mains we had the squid ink tagliatellle pescatore and the vegetarian tagliatellle which were both outstanding. As someone who didn’t think they liked Italian food, this felt like the most authentic version. Everything was amazing, the sauce for the meatballs was perfection. Nothing felt short of or bland and every dish I tried really just surprised me. I also want to note that this isn’t a place you can go to if you’re in a rush. I had stumbled upon this place as I was walking and decided to go in as a solo date. Off the bat the aesthetic of the place is so cute and homey. I had ordered the Whipped Ricotta that had honey & Calabrian chili oil. That was so good especially with the bread. The honey really was a good touch. I then ordered as an appetizer the Polpo.
